Let's Talk About Depression

Today I want to talk about something different. You may say that this doesn't concern you and I would understand. But if you have anyone, who may be going through something similar to this, it might really help to read. They may not be able to explain how they feel. I know I wasn't able to for a long time...

I've been suffering from major depressive disorder and panic attacks for almost 2 years, and I'm under medication treatment for the past year. I've had previous cases of panic attack since I was little but never understood what they really were and nobody really thought it was anything important.

I'd like to point out the common misconceptions and mistakes that I had the first hand experience with.

The worst one is almost always.
"There are people who have it worse. Pick yourself up.":

Depression is a medical condition, a mental illness. The reason I'm suffering from this condition is that my brain lacks a chemical called serotonin. Which is why I take medication, to make up for it. Not because I'm trying to numb the pain.

The next one is what I get from most of my friends.
"I'm depressed too.":

As I said, depression is a medical condition. Of course everyone has their ups and downs and they get sad. But that doesn't necessarily mean that you are suffering from depression. Another thing is that I am not very comfortable opening up about it. So when you undermine the message I'm trying to deliver, you are doing a lot more damage than you can imagine.

"I didn't want to tell you because you already have your own things(!)":

This is a continuous thing and it's going to take a while. I'm trying to live my life as normal as it can be. I'm your friend and I'm going to be there for you when you need me to. Don't leave me out of your life. In fact involve me in it. Tell me things. I will be happy when you are happy and when you're sad I will not collapse in empathy I will do my best to help you out.

This comes from my parents still
"Don't tell anyone that you're taking medication!"

I'm not a drug addict. I have a condition and I'm trying to cure it. I shouldn't have any reason to hide it just like you don't hide it when you have the flu. It is a part of me but it doesn't define me. Don't make me feel ashamed of what I have. Don't look at me like I'm a hopeless case. If you would still like me if I had allergies, like me the way I am right now.

The last one is the most dangerous one
"I don't think that you should take these pills.":

I really do need my medication. Don't force me not to take them, or don't make me feel bad about it. I'm just trying to get better; just like you want me to. And this is the only way to do it. As a matter of fact, not taking my medication is not only going to stop my improvement but also will possibly make me worse. It is a deal about my brain chemistry.

I'm in the 13th month of my treatment process and I'm happy to say that I don't cry every day anymore. I don't see nightmares every night. Be happy for me :)

I decided just to write about the outer side of the situation because I still don't feel comfortable sharing what is actually going on in my head. Maybe I'll write about it too one day.

It is not always going to be like this. This doesn't last forever. I know I'll be fine; and you should know it too.

All I need... all we need is a little more support.

Pretty Little Liars: Is it ever going to end?

This review is about the season 6 finale and yes, of course there are spoilers!

So, I was one of the lucky ones who survived to see who A turned out to be before the judgement day; and I have to admit that despite of all that nonsense they went through to stretch the show into 6 season, I say they cleaned up pretty well.

CeCe is Charles, and a transsexual, and a DiLaurentis, and was missing from the story for quite some time.

I can't say that I was so very surprised. CeCe was always a suspect but they diverted our attention from her firstly by ignoring her existence for a whole season and secondly being sure that A was a dude. Plot Twist! CeCe used to be a guy!

So we heard the whole story from her point of view with a lot of plot holes but stretching a show for that long I'll take it.

What I'm not fine with is CeCe a.k.a. Charles a.k.a. A was sort of presented as the victim in the end. I get that she's been through some very hard time and she wanted revenge and everything but she is showed as someone who has been falsely taken as a mental patient for all these years and I say that it is impossible for someone who has is mentally stable to even dream of the things she has done.

You may say that she was driven crazy with all that life brought her but seriously, this girl has committed multiple murders, kidnapped and tortured multiple people and put some of the people she kidnapped (who she calls "her dolls") in a giant doll house.

Also her mom funded her and stuff but please, how much money can someone have to set up all that complicated surveillance and hire that many people... It just doesn't make sense.

Plus she cannot possible build that doll house herself and set all that surveillance by herself etc etc. Didn't ANYONE notice something uncanny about this girl; especially in a town which is infamous for its fucked up events that are going around? Don't you have to get a permit or something to build that giant building? Just one girl did all that and skipped the police for all those years and it was all for... Wait! What was it for? Oh right because she thought Alison's friends were happy that she died.

Aaaannddd..... To top it all, the four girls who had their lives turn into hell for years, who had multiple near death experiences, lost many friends, had families fallen apart found A reasonable? WHAT?

You know what? I've been waiting to find out who A is for so long, I really don't mind. I just want my peace. I want to see those girls go on with their lives and everything to be back to normal. But for some reason the network decided that the show must go on.

Just when we thought 'Everything is finally solved', HERE'S A TIME JUMP.

And of course since these girls are cursed and everything has to happen to them, they are in trouble again. "He"is after Alison apparently and the other girls are somehow involved in it. And it's too late; "he" is here.

I guess we will continue the series with H now.

I may endure a new anonymous person that is making the life of 5 teenage girls hell for one more season but now there are rumors of a season 8. Pleeeasseee don't! I just can't take it anymore!

Whatever.

So we have another season waiting for us around the middle of next year and I'm very sorry to day that I'm not really looking forward to it anymore.

Will I see it? Yes. Will I like it? I guess we'll see.

Thank you for reading my humble opinion.

Adventures on YouTube

So I've been doing my internship for a whole month now and you don't always have things to do. And spending a day 8 to 5 in an office with nothing to do could be some kind of torture.

With an interesting blocked websites list, I don't have access to IMDb (which is my number one favorite website to waste time) but fortunately I have access to YouTube.

So I decided to make some video/channel recommendations on YouTube for those of you in need of mindless distraction.

YouTube is of course known to satisfy every kind of taste and not everyone necessarily supposed to like the same content. However, if you are reading this I'm assuming we have similar tastes. I'm also putting an example for my favorite videos on each channel so that you can have a little taste.

I begin my daily routine with jacksfilms usually. If you are not familiar with the channel, Jack Douglas is this guy who usually makes videos using the comments under his videos as concept. We may call it  the inception of videos.

My favorite thing about jacksfilms is (was) YGS (Your Grammer Sucks) where Jack takes poorly spelled or comments on YouTube and reads them out loud. I know it sound ridiculous when I say it like this but it actually is very funny. Unfortunately for some reason Jack decided to make the 100th episode of YGS the last one but promised to make it epic. How was that episode? I'll tell you if he ever makes it.

Since there hasn't been any YGS videos coming our way for a while, I try to take simple satisfaction from the daily series YIAY (Yesterday I Asked You) which is again a comment based show where Jack asks something everyday and reads his favorite answers the next day. It passes the time so...

If you're a movies fan like me, I have the perfect channel for you. Two channels actually. Screen Junkies and CinemaSins...

My favorite Screen Junkies show is of course the "Honest Trailer". They basically take your favorite movies and edit them into trailers that reviews them in a very funny way. And CinemaSins take those movies and point out every cliche, mistake or anything that bothers them basically in their "Everything Wrong With" series. Both channels also occasionally offers the same format with video games, TV shows or with famous brands.

For those of you have that random sense of humor, you have ExplosmEntertainment that make one of the most random animations you may find on the internet with their epic "Cyanide & Happiness" shorts.

For those list lovers I'm positive that you are already stalking the YouTube channel of BuzzFeed which has many different channels like BuzzFeedVideo, BuzzFeed Yellow, BuzzFeedViolet and so on and so  on.... It's just one of those channels you follow when you don't want to waste too much energy on brain  work.

A channel I like with a similar content is WatchMojo.com, which makes the top 10 lest about... well about everything actually. To be honest I find the content of WatchMojo a bit more satisfying then BuzzFeed list videos. If you compare them yourself, I'm sure that you're going to realize there is much more thought and research goes to the WatchMojo videos.

If you're looking for a channel that is going to make you laugh your ass off, we have Bad Lip Reading. They take movies, music videos, press conferences, everything and dub them with ridiculous stuff and they are very successful with the lip syncing too. Unfortunately new videos come very rarely to the channel.

A YouTube phenomenon I'm sure most of the people who have access to the internet ran into at least once is PewDiePie.

PewDiePie was (yes was) my favorite channel on YouTube for a very long time. I don't remember laughing that hard on anything. Unfortunately what concerns me is that I can't find the same quality and definitely not the same laughs from it anymore. However, the videos he made playing Scribblenauts will remain some of my favorites forever.

A different kind of entertainment is provided from Fine Brothers Entertainment who are famous with their "React" episodes. They also have these sitcom series but they don't peak my interest that much to be honest. But whenever you want to feel like you are 100 years old, you may watch Kids React to Technology.

Yes, this is how I spend roughly about 9 hours a day everyday. So if you have any suggestions for me, I would love to take a look at them.

As usual, thank you for reading my humble opinion.

Jurassic World

May I begin with just saying "Wow!" Jurassic Park finally got a sequel that it deserves.

From our history of Jurassic Park sequels I had very very low expectations going to the movie last night. Thank you Colin Trevorrow for proving me wrong.

As usual I'm going to make my fair warnings from the beginning. I have always been and always be a huge fan of Chris Pratt. This situation may have affected my judgment of the movie tiny bit. But it didn't affect that much on Guardians of the Galaxy so I'm certain that Jurassic World was good. Really good!

Last night when we left the theater I was fairly disappointed that my dad was not impressed. I have no idea what people have against CGI. I know it's not as much work as it used to be with the handmade sets and robotics and stuff but if it looks realistic I am all for the green screen technology. It's not about how they make it, it's about what comes out of it.

A revelation about me: I don't like 3D. I just don't. The general viewpoint on 3D that it improves the experience but I think the other way around. I find it tiring. The first few times you see a movie in 3D it may  be interesting but it surely gets old. So I wouldn't hate to have Jurassic World in the good old 2 dimension without the color distortion of the 3D glasses.

We can't only talk good about a movie so let's begin with my "oh no" moments. First of all, I would definitely kill of that Henry guy is a huge ass. I've always wanted to punch every character that is written with a God syndrome so I know it was necessary for the story line but I still hate it.

Someone explain me this: 3 velociraptors is useless against an Indominus Rex but one raptor alone can take it down? I know there was a T-Rex involved but she didn't really do much did she?

Is the message of the movie "dinosaurs have feelings too"? And even if it is, why raptors dude? You learn nothing from your mistakes?

At the end of the movie the Indominus Rex is defeated and it's all good. But it shouldn't! There are still very dangerous dinosaurs out there that can make you an appetizer or dessert. In the first movie people were running from the fucking T-Rex; not that there is a more dangerous kind is the T-Rex okay to hang around with?

They do leave the island be and dinosaurs live there on their own happily ever after and it's an island so they can't get to the humans bla bla bla... Let's ignore the fact that there are kinds that can fly and actually have eaten and/or impaled people but whatever. If they will decide to cross the island they'll just make another sequel to take care of it.

But then there are the teary-eye moments, which are mainly the references made to the original Jurassic Park movie. The door, the hall, the logo... I was all "aawww" half of the movie.

I know I spotted out more negatives that I can point out positives but the things I got hung up on are trivial stuff and what has impressed me was the originality of the story. Indominus Rex is basically not a dinosaur but it is a clever creation. Even though it's CGI it succeeds in giving you goosebumps.

I say that you should definitely see Jurassic World. Don't make the mistake of comparing it to Jurassic Park. Just sit back and enjoy the show. You won't regret it.

Thank you for reading my humble opinion.

In Case of a Jane Austen Craving...

Every now and then, I get a craving for an Austen kind of romance and if you're craving Austen you gotta have Austen.

If you ever have such cravings on a rainy day or when it's too cold outside, I have the perfect list for you.

Every craving is different from the other. Sometimes you need a hard core Janey Austeny stuff like the direct adaptation of Pride and Prejudice or a modern day adaptation, or even some work that Jane Austen is acknowledged as the great writer she is within the movie/series.

Starting with the direct book adaptations... A Jane Austen list that doesn't begin with Pride and Prejudice is not a Jane Austen list. I am equally a fan of the 2005 version of P&P with Keira Knightley and the 1995 mini series version of P&P in 1995 with Colin Firth.

But if you are at the very beginning of the Austen road, I recommend you start with the movie before dedicating yourself to a more intense journey with the mini series.

Speaking of mini series, Emma is the second best I have seen ever. The best comes later...

So far all of the Jane Austen book adapted projects, I have seen without having any prior information. (Except Pride and Prejudice. If you haven't read that shame on you dude!) That's why I've made the decision to give you the same chance and give no hint on the plot.

The other two books adapted to mini series are Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey. I am not that big of a fan of either of them (I know that no one really is a fan of Northanger Abbey) but if you've got nothing then, oh well...

And there is Sense and Sensibility. This one also comes to our way with two choices: mini series and a movie. To be honest I haven't seen the 1981 mini series of Sense and Sensibility because I saw the 1995 movie first and the general plot wasn't so much for my taste. However I would still recommend you to see the movie if not for the story, for the performances of Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. Also there is Alan Rickman, which is always a plus.

As a representative of this category I will forever and always say Pride and Prejudice. Even though many people prefer Colin Firth to Matthew Macfadyen, I still prefer the 2005 movie to the 1995 mini series.

The second category is the modern adaptations of the Jane Austen books. This category is literally over flowing. I am not going to mention every single one of them of course. Just the ones that stand out to me.

If we begin with the "adequate one" on my list, I would start with From Prada to Nada which is apparently adapted from Sense and Sensibility. In my view this movie is nothing more than a light chick flick that is only good when you're extremely bored, but it helps passing time. So whatever...

Then there is the famous Bridget Jones's Diary... Confession Time: I'm a fan. So what? Allegedly Bridget Jones was adapted from Pride and Prejudice but if you can find one -and only one- similarity between Bridget and Elizabeth I will give you everything I own. Still, I believe that it's a good movie.

Finally a 1995 classic, Clueless. The day I watched Clueless, which is based on Emma, I fell in love with both Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd. It is a teen aiming romantic comedy but it seriously, honestly entertains. I applaud you Amy Heckerling!

To respresent this category I will not be able to choose between Clueless and Bridget Jones (the first movie, not the sequel), but since Clueless is more relatable to its base story and this is a Jane Austen list, I have to go with Clueless.

And a final category for the Austen fans is the movies I put in the category of "Others" because they are not exactly book adaptations.

For example the movie The Jane Austen Book Club is obviously about a book club that reads Jane Austen. duhh... It is a soft time passer that I enjoyed but I still would say.. meeehh. You may leave that to the end of your list if you're planning on binge-watching Jane Austen.

One of my favorites in this list and this whole article is Becoming Jane. It is not about a book that Jane Austen has written but it is about Jane Austen herself. The events on the movie are not exactly verified but there are letters and stuff supporting some details that are imagined in her story. Plus I like Anne Hathaway whatever you say.

The last but not least that one favorite of mine... Lost in Austen.

This is 4 episode mini series with Jemima Rooper starring as Amanda Price who finds herself inside of her favorite book Pride and Prejudice. It's fun, it's funny, it's everything you want it to be. That's why, to anyone with a craving of a Jane Austen kind of romance I would strongly recommend Lost in Austen.

Thank you for reading my humble opinion.

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her and Them

(Aaaah look at all the lonely people...) Every story has two sides.

I've had the pleasure of having a very different experience Ned Benson's The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby tonight. What is so different about it was that it is a two piece movie and each pieces separately are very mediocre. However, when you see both of them... It is spectacular. It is like a puzzle on a film roll.

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby consists of two parts: him and her. I chose to see him first. I don't think it really matters which one you see first much but I was happy with my choice of seeing him first then her.

Basically the movie is about a married couple who lost their toddler and lost their way after this tragic event. The scenario is a realistic tragedy story. What makes the movie so special is that you actually experience the lives of Connor and Eleanor while watching their side of the movie.

Before I have seen the movie I've read a review and whoever wrote it really have articulated my feelings: It is like listening to both sides after a breakup, from different perspectives.

While watching "Him" you see the story from the eyes of Connor. How his wife took it so badly and how selfish she looked. How he tried to save their relationship even when he was also hurting from their lost. How life was going on. Eleanor was the worst in my eyes.

Then I saw "Her" and I understood why. Why she did what she has done and why she disappeared. How her depression escalated and how she did her best to survive while trying to protect Connor in her mess.

What was really fascinating was that, we saw the same scenes in their shared scenes but in each part there were nuances and these nuances represented their point of view. Most likely how they remembered that moment. How they felt and what they thought it meant. And you live that story that moment with them and feel what they feel.

What I have always loved about movies is that it gives me the opportunity to live different lives with every different story and every different character. What is important is that the film must be able to take you in make you feel it. In this movie however, I have experienced something that I've never had before: I didn't feel like I was that character but that I were friends with them. And it was like they shared their stories with me.

The feeling was nothing but... precious. That is the exact word I need to describe this movie.

For the people who don't have the time or the patience to watch the same story from two different perspectives, there is also a "Them" version. But I have seen that one too and it doesn't give the same effect as watching them separately. When you watch "Them" you watch a common story of tragedy that has a lot less insights. If you are interested, I recommend you strongly to watch "Him" and "Her" separately.

Thank you for reading my humble opinion.

Supergirl

My name is Kara, and this is now the standard intro to a DC adaptation show.

So, I was drinking and decided to give a chance to Supergirl, which is apparently leaked online. (that's how I watched it anyway) And the thing is, even being drunk it was unbearable.

The whole production is firstly full off horrible cliches. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a person who is totally against cliches. I find the right amount of it necessary and helpful. But the whole feminist acts, which I find them used in a very wrong perspective, was very unnecessary.

Firstly Cara gets annoyed by being called Supergirl instead of Superwoman. The part I don't get is, why the word "girl is seen diminishing? When a girl turns into a woman she becomes a much wonderful creature? And considering your age, yes, you're a girl. Be proud of it!

They make the word "girl" a big feminism problem where they find no problem with her wearing the tiniest skirt ever that has no functional value -it may distract the villains of course- but sure looks nice. She has nice legs, we get it; but where is your feminist spirit now?

So if we began from the beginning of the story -which I am going to skip the follow your cousin, oh he's fine never mind part because it's so ridiculous that "I can't even"- she decides using her powers because her step-sister is on a falling plane. If it's not her sister it's okay, the other people don't really matter. But I have to admire the news station of National City. I have never heard of a news reporting that is so successful, they can determine that a plane is crashing and have time to report about it before it does. -and of course it also has to be early enough that Kara can see the news and go near the crash site and stop the plane from crashing-

Then there is Winn, the stereotypical friend zoned best friend and James, who doesn't like to be called Jimmy -unless Superman calls him that- and obviously going to have a romantic story with Kara in two seasons top. (if the show lasts that long)

Let's talk about the step-sister shall we? First of all, your sister tells you that she's an alien and stuff but you can't bother to tell her that you are an agent? Shame on you! Second of all -totally ignoring the fact that he evil activity started after Kara got to a proper age to fight extraterrestrial forces- why does the agency feel the need to shot the girl down from the sky and kidnap her if they are planning on having a reasonable conversation?

Later on, they explain to her how they have a great villainous alien problem and then tell her to keep pretending to be normal and go back to her old boring job? Why? If you don't want her involved why bother all that fuss?

Other things that bat my eye, why the hell everyone avoids saying "Superman"? Is it a curse word in National City or something?

Kara's boss is like: "Oh, a clear image of Supergirl, and it surprisingly looks like you.. oh well, whatever..."

Hank and his team recovers a message from Kara's mother and decides to keep to themselves for years and when finally Kara sees the message somehow her mother says exactly what she needs to hear, even that she is long dead and totally unaware of the context.

And finally at the end... What the hell was that? The bad guy basically said "You're a girl, shouldn't get your hands dirty with blood, here let me kill myself."

What I'm trying to say is that I have not much but any hopes for this show. The first episode is supposed to attract the audience. It was lame, and unoriginal and very obviously made to say "We do have a female superhero! Look... Supergirl!" Well, I don't bite. I usually prefer not to judge a show by the pilot episode but I find this show (I'm sorry if it's gonna sound harsh) a waste of funding.

The show is not going to air until November I think, but even if you're planning to see it I don't recommend you to look forward to it. There are a lot of really good shows out there. Don't fall to the claws of a production that is trying to market feminism by combining it  with-and disrespecting- the popular culture.

And thank you for reading my humble opinion.

Age of Ultron (The Comic Book)

I have to begin with this confession: I don't have much of a comic book culture. (Which in my language means "I only read Deadpool")

So don't judge me!

Firstly, I found out that reading this kind of a comic book takes a lot of brainwork. So there are things that I didn't understand. But as I have been told before, the movie IS a disappointment after reading the real story.

Well, if you've seen the movie and wish to read the comic -or vice versa- but you're afraid of spoilers... don't be. Because the story is very different. And by different I mean they have nothing to do with each other. And by nothing I mean NOTHING!

Yes there is Ultron and there are the Avengers -sort of- but that is pretty much the only thing they have in common.

I guess we all know that Ultron is the baby of Hank Pym not Tony Stark, definitely not Tony Stark. So naturally Pym has an important role in the story. Along with Wolverine and with Sue Storm. The whole story basically revolves around the three of them with a tiny pinch of Iron Man.

The word "Hydra" is mentioned only once and it is only for a joke. We don't see Scarlet Witch at all and Quicksilver of course doesn't fucking die!

What really happens is that a bunch of Avengers members go back in time to stop Pym from creating Ultron but Wolverine has his own ideas, which involves terminally exterminating Pym. He beats the well-meaning Avengers to it and kills off Pym and of course creates a massive butterfly effect and makes the situation even worse.

Vision doesn't save the day, he doesn't do anything even. Wolverine fucks things up then unfucks them and happily ever after...

Haha! Just kidding! Who has ever had a happily ever after anyway. (Except for Clint Barton in the movie version I guess.)

We meet this mystical Angela person, who apparently thinks that she is some sort of an angel. Or maybe she is. What do I know? I didn't get much of that last part anyway. Why does she think she was disrespected? Did a TV satellite hit her or something? Well, it's obviously the set up for another story so I don't really care that much.

So in general, I don't know how to say that I am disappointed with the movie because they obviously  invented a whole new story for it. But the comic book was something much more I can assure you on that. Ultron is a much more intimidating threat and the storyline is more complex and to be honest more meaningful. But I am a movie geek so I can't say that I hate the movie either. It was fine in its own way.

Only if they didn't kill off Quicksilver. There really was no need for that dudes!

As usual, thank you for reading my humble opinion.

This is what the original Ultron looks like by the way - not that cool.

Quicksilver vs. Quicksilver

Right after the Avengers entry, it's time to write for something I have been waiting for a long time.

The ultimate battle:

Quicksilver vs. Quicksilver

Of course what I'm talking about is the Quicksilver/Peter Maximoff in the Days of the Future Past and Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff in the Avengers: Age of Ultron.

I may be tiny bit, biased towards X-Men and Evan Peters. But I promise I'll do my best to be fair.

Then let's begin... First I want to point out the nationality fact. Peter Maximoff (Peters) is obviously if not American born is American raised whereas Pietro Maximoff (Taylor-johnson) is an orphan coming from somewhere in Russia? Not sure of that. Factually Quicksilver is adopted by a gypsy couple and if we talk about backgrounds, admittedly the Avengers accent is more on point than the X-Men accent. For that I have to give Taylor-Johnson one point.

Moving on to something that breaks my heart. Poor Wanda. In X-Men Wanda Maximoff... is... practically... a baby... and she's wearing a princess costume? Scandalous! It is understandable that who Avengers really wanted in the movie was Scarlet Witch and therefore she was created meticulously but they involved Quicksilver too! As a grown up! It's not that hard Brian Singer! There goes another point to team Avengers.

I don't find it fair to compare the costumes of the two representations. I found the costume of Pietro successful. However, in the X-Men movie, Peter is not Quicksilver yet; so you can't expect him to wear the Quicksilver costume can you? The silver jacket, despite everyone on the internet, I like. They tried creating a more futuristic look for him and I think that it was a good idea. (Plus I would shoot anyone who would complain about Days of the Future Past's costumes if I had a gun. It deserved an Oscar; really!)

Since I find it a bad idea to compare the costume, I'm going to compare... the hair. I admit that Peters' hair looks a bit fake, plasticky, but Johnson's hair is fucking blond! Nope! point goes to Peters in this one.

Attitude... now that's the hard part. I think that both actors nailed the Quicksilver sassiness. I hate using this word but I will: Aaron got the serious case of swag. But to let my bias show, I was much more impressed with Evan's performance. First of all, the idea of making him speak fast... genius! Bryan Singer explained in one of his interview that Quicksilver is too fast that he finds everything happening around him slow and boring; and we can observe his boredom in his rapid talk. Now try that with that accent Aaron!

I also like the kleptomania bid. He is obviously a teenager and he has a great power; it is natural for him drift to the simple crimes. With the attitude and the kleptomania detail, I add 2 lovely points to dear Evan.

Going back to the facts, even though the kitchen scene in X-Men (I will come back to it later) was amazing, Quicksilver is unfortunately not that fast. If he was he wouldn't get shot in the Avenger would he? That one goes to the team Avengers again.

I know it's a copyright issue, but no Quicksilver is acceptable in my book without the daddy issues; which means point goes all the way to Michael Fassbender's amazing Magneto. "My mom used to know a guy who could do that." Classic!

We have to agree on that Quicksilver is no joke. He has to play a good part if he's in. He's special, he's wonderful, unique... Ehhmm, sorry. So let's get to the kitchen scene =)). I am proudly biased on this one and you are a fool if you're not too. That scene, was honestly my favourite scene in the whole cinema history. His speed might be exaggerated, but what is creates is funny and enjoyable. It's arguably the best scene in the movie. And in the Avengers Quicksilver mostly hangs out around Scarlet Witch so... POINT X-MEN!

Finally, the aftermath... I admit that it's foolish to leave Quicksilver after he can even break into the Pentagon and get Magneto out. I mean he could single handedly solve all the problem in the movie. But that would be too easy, wouldn't it? Why would you watch the movie then? They use the guy, then toss him out like a used... jet? I don't know. But at least they didn't fucking kill him off! Once again WTF Marvel? Whatever the action may be, you lose that point for killing Quicksilver! Go X-Men!
